Dave Andrews founded Devious Media, LLC to serve a blossoming need in the developing field of cross-media production. As president, Andrews is spearheading the company’s mission to aid clients in their quest to reach a global audience across any platform.
Prior to launching Devious Media, Andrews served as Vice President of Production and Interactive Entertainment at GSN, The Network For Games. There, he was in charge of managing the production process of interactive television, as well as the company’s online games and mobile initiatives, and other corporate multi-platform endeavors. Among his many contributions, Andrews created more than 50 interactive television shows, and established a single-player cash game, where players could compete online to be game show contestants on LINGO. GSN saw more than 100 million plays of games that Andrews developed.
As Producer of Experimental Online Programming and Gaming at Icebox.com, Andrews produced the Internet sensation “Mr. Wong.” This Internet show received an “A” in an Entertainment Weekly review. Before his job at Icebox, Andrews was a Producer at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment. In this capacity he designed websites, implemented strategies for grass roots marketing, and consulted on developing Internet communities. Further rounding out his past experiences are his roles as Animation Production Manager and Post-Production Supervisor for the Disney television series “One Saturday Morning.”
Since taking the helm of Devious Media, Andrews has been developing strategic partnerships with global entertainment technology companies to make a mark in the US digital entertainment space. He consults for start-ups in the advertising, marketing, community, and new media space, from concept to completion. Under his leadership, Devious Media is working with Sony Pictures Television International, and already has created a cross-platform strategy for their three main television sites around the world: AXN, SET and Animax. Combined, these networks are in over 400 million homes worldwide.
A four-time Emmy Award nominee in the Interactive Television category, Andrews is also a member of the Producers Guild of America New Media Council, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Casual Games Association, the Cable Telecommunications Association for Marketing, and the International Game Developers Association.
True. I did need to post a picture, I am just trying to get control of all of this. If I could put myself on the copy machine, I would make about 6 copies, and then, maybe, I would be able to keep up with all of this. This growth is driving me bananas, not that I am not happy for it. We need to reconvene soon.
