- Larry”Syid” Wright has written several short stories and screenplays (Two Features) The Storm & Blind Eye. 2005 Grand slam was read at the National Black Theater festival in Winston Salem, NC. 2006 Grand Slam was part of the Greensboro Fringe Theater Festival. 2007 Shot the film Grand Slam. In July 2008, Larry completed a documentary on the Triad Youth Jazz Society, a school that teaches kids 8-18 how to play, compose and read music along with teaching the history of jazz. Feb 2009 completed the short film, Nick and assistant director for the film, Caution Heartache Ahead, starring Bern Nadette Stanis
