THE Place To Watch EXCLUSIVE Entertainment and News Videos

Nov 4, I witnessed and wore history. I volunteered in a campaign for the first time in my voting life. Though I'm voting in my 4th presidential election, I was/am motivated by a man in politics and moved by a Spirit AT THE SAME TIME and it is a beautifully overwhelming feeling. To know that we are on the cusp of change and that that is truth, not a tagline. To know that God is moving. I believe his sons are stepping up and you will see. This is our time. Don't sleep. Be at work...early. When he comes, be at work; be prepared for he is coming. He is coming.

I think I speak on behalf of all us parents when I say PHEW! OUR CHILDREN's reality is this change. My children know iPhone and Barak Obama. very well, I might add. Those icons are their reality. I have witnessed change because I remember growing up and knowing that the color of my skin meant something in society that had NOTHING to do with my character. I remember rotary telephones. To see for real change, IS AMAZING! Nothing short of that.

I think that President Obama will be able to put us on the road to seeing a real change in this country. But I think that even more profound than his policy is the feeling of limitless possibility that we DO have the power to change the world. Barack Obama represents a tangible manifestation of this possibility and his election as president has broken the "boundaries" that many black people had placed on them and even placed on themselves. There are no limits for us or anyone else. But not all will agree with this...But let those with eyes to see and ears to hear take heed and live their lives to the fullest. Make full use of your highest potential and take strides to leave this planet better than you found it.

I hear ya both! I believe that the change must come from within... Like Didier says, we need good people. But it is something to see that CHANGE from a country that is built on 400 years of ugly even up until this Bush administration (talk about ugly and evil). There are countless stories of white people spewing racist comments and violence because of Obama's presidency. Is he to blame? OF COURSE NOT! All change comes from within but on November 4, we saw a change in millions of people. That's big time. There are also stories of numerous black men who are experiencing a change within and changing their lives because of the Obama inspiration. So, yes, change must come from individuals but inspiration always helps!

It is great to see change. I for one never thought and even said it out loud "A black person would never be President/Prime minister in my life time." How wrong I was, I hope I am wrong in saying nothing much will change during Obamas Presidency. Peace

Queen Lydia I had a poem of meaning but it got lost. To Break the Molds of Chains only to Change. To Break the Molds of Bars, only to Reach for the Stars. To Break the Molds of Hate, only to Created. To Break the Molds of Violence only to Destory Malice. To Break the Molds of the Poor, to only Give Time and More. To Break the Molds of the Homlessness, to Allow more Places, Homes and Achievements. To Break the Molds of Colors, Accepting change for the Better. To Break the Molds of Crime, to Create More Jobs to Shine. To Break the Molds of Two-Hundred-Twenty-One Years, The Masterpiece of History of our New President, and Nation, Communities, and our World, the first Enjoyment of Tears. Peace, Queen of the Sun!
