MG Hardie has done it again with It Ain't Just The Size. Lightning
strikes twice as Hardie successfully mixes Hip-Hop references, pop
culture, conspiracy theories, common sense, comedy and hot button
issues into an entertaining literary gumbo, much like his debut effort
EveryDay Life.
Characters with strong, yet separate identities discuss the issues
that we all talk about in the comfort of our homes. Long Beach,
California, roommates Lance and Cazz have a crew of friends and
associates that speak to each other as effortlessly and candidly as we
do with our family and friends. The key difference is Hardie driving
the dialogue.
Covering issues including homosexuality, domestic violence, the
pharmaceutical industry and the global influence of Hip-Hop, Hardie's
assorted mix of intellectuals and average joes hold enchanting
conversations full of wit and humor. Unlike most works of fiction, It
Ain't Just The Size offers more than problems. Solutions are given, and
they are not all pretty.
With It Ain't Just The Size, MG Hardie's intentions shine as he
presents the good, the bad and the down-right ugly aspects of life in
the hood. Hardie seamlessly weaves various viewpoints and perspectives
together and presents them perfectly from the minds of Lance's motley
crew.
