BlackTree TV's Ferrari Cruz is patiently waiting the Oscars all week from the Red Carpet. Our Pre-Oscar show is live from Hollywood Blvd and we are going to be there until security kicks us out. A large Oscar statue has been placed at the Kodak Theatre's entrance and a sign is up on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.
Rain covers are being put up over outside seating as weather reports suggest there is a 60% chance of rain on Oscar Sunday in LA.
The section of Hollywood Boulevard around the theatre will be closed to traffic until the early hours of Monday morning.
Later this week, crews will be rolling out the red carpet.
Fantasy adventure Avatar and Iraq drama The Hurt Locker are expected to dominate the awards.
This year sees no fewer than 10 films up for Best Picture with a new system of voting.
Other movies in the mix include An Education, Inglourious Basterds, District 9 and Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire.
